The Casio WK500 is a musical keyboard instrument that both professional musicians and beginners will find very much entertaining. This digital workstation has a wealth of features that even musical purist will find valuable. It has 76 piano style keys that are touch-sensitive and has a natural feel. The 48-tone polyphony (maximum) ensures all notes are going to be heard when playing complex musical pieces. The AHL (Acoustic and Highly-compressed Large-waveform) sound chip allows this musical instrument to perfectly mimic acoustic sounds and the sound of a real grand piano.
The Casio WK500 also showcases 670 high quality tones, 200 rhythms (77 ethnic rhythms and 20 patterns for piano play), digital effects such as reverb and choruses, 12 types of auto harmonizer, 90 types of arpeggiator and a 10 user rhythm editor so a user would be able to experiment using a variety of tones, style and effects in composing a creative and original musical piece.
The USB Plug and Play feature that is included in the Casio WK500 also makes loading songs into the digital equipment easier. No need to install software from a CD-ROM, just plug in a Mac/Windows compatible USB and play. The extensive connectivity includes an audio input and microphone input giving more opportunities to experiment and play with the music.
